About Alewives

Alewives Tap Room was opened in 2022 at High Street Place Food Hall by Allison Fisher and Crystal Rimoczy, inspired by their husbands' success as owners of Newburyport Brewing Company.

As of Summer 2024, Allison is the sole owner of the tap room—one of 13 women-owned businesses at the food hall—proudly serving craft beer favorites from Newburyport Brewing Co and various other renowned breweries in Greater Boston.

In addition to craft brews, Alewives provide a gluten-free cider and a hard seltzer for customers to enjoy.
